Fees, Financial Aid
We have three different tuition rates:
- Active St. Francis Xavier Parish*
- Active Other Catholic Parish
- Non-Practicing Catholic or Other Faith
Tuition and Fees :
Tuition is payable on a 10 month basis starting the 5th of June. All tuition payments must be made via ACH (Automatic Withdrawal Authorization). You may select your payment date to be either the 5th or 20th of the month
A 2% discount is given to families who pay with check or cash full tuition by June 5th. (If you are a new student to the school, you may also pay in full with a 2% discount at the time of registration.
Fees associated with registration includes
- a $50 per family registration fee
- a $230 per student Instructional Resource Fee

2008-2009 Tuition Rates Schedule
The 2009-2010 Tuition Rates Schedule will not be determined until January or February of 2009.
*Note - Active St. Francis Xavier Parish status is defined as regular Mass attendance, participation in a parish ministry, and participation in Parish offertory program contributing using parish envelopes with parishioner number.
Financial Aid:
There is tuition assistance available to families who have children enrolled at St. Francis Xavier
School. Financial Aid applications have been completed for 2008-2009.
For the 2009-2010 school year, students must be registered and enrolled at St. Francis Xavier School for the 2009-2010 school
year in order to be eligible for a scholarship.
There are two types of scholarships: CTODP and Parish. Families must be registered in the parish for at least 12 months to be eligibl for the Parish Scholarship.
Applications for both CTODP and Parish assistance are available through the school office. CTODP
requires only one application per family. FAIR, the organization processing CTODP applications, will
send you a postcard confirming receipt of your application within 2 weeks of receiving it at their office.
ALL CTODP AND PARISH APPLICATIONS FOR 2009-2010 MUST BE POSTMARKED BY
MONDAY, APRIL 14, 2009. Applications will be available starting in March 2009.
Financial Aid from
Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix
Need Based Assistance: Financial assistance of up to 75% of tuition is available to
qualifying students. The entire CTODP application needs to be completed. Families
must indicate on the form that they are applying for aid based on financial need. As
part of the CTODP application, you must provide a complete copy of your 2008 federal
tax return, including all appropriate schedules. A check or money order for $19 payable
to FAIR should be paper clipped to the front page of the application form.
OR
Funds Availability: Financial assistance is provided through funds that are available
after CTODP need based awards are granted to qualifying families. Scholarship awards
are dependent upon the number of families who apply and the amount of funds that are
available. Families are to complete only Parts I, II, and III of the CTODP Scholarship
Application. A check or money order for $19 payable to FAIR should be paper clipped to
the front page of the application form. |

Financial Aid assistance has been awarded for the 2008-2009 school year. Please check back in March, 2009 for instructions to apply for financial aid for the 2009-2010 school year.
Financial assistance is available to in-parish families and families registered in St. Francis
Xavier School prior to January 1, 2008.
As Part of Registration: You must apply for CTODP (aid based on financial need) to be
eligible for any need-based assistance from the parish. Parish funds are available to
families in need of assistance after CTODP funds have been awarded. Parish Financial Assistance request forms can be downloaded here.
A completed Parish Financial Assistance Request Form needs to be submitted to
the Assistant to the Pastor at the parish in a sealed envelope.
Mid-year Assistance: Financial assistance from the parish is available to
families who find that their financial affairs change mid-year. The application
process involves meeting with the Parish Finance Director and/or the principal.
