Principal - Ms. Lisa Westfall-Elliott
My vision for St. Francis Xavier School is to develop a school program that nurtures the whole child in mind, body, and spirit. With the Ignatian principles of education as my guide, I desire through my leadership to promote the development of the potential of each child. As the school principal, I seek to recruit teachers and staff who are committed to children and helping them learn. In my leadership, I promote a strong commitment to church, academic excellences, the spiritual development of children, co-curricular activities like fieldtrips, clubs, retreats, and programs that enhance the learning environment, and utilization of the latest technology in the learning process. Encouraging parent involvement in the school program is also very important to me. At St. Francis Xavier School, we have a very strong Parent Association, School Advisory Board and numerous parent volunteer programs that encourage parents to become directly involved in the life of the school. As a person who attended Catholic school from kindgarten through graduate school, I am passionate about Catholic education and its role in building future church and community leaders. Promoting opportunities for worship and service within the broader parish provides students and families the opportunity to practice and be supported in their faith in a nurturing community.
