Cura Personalis

In an effort to care for the individual needs of students, St. Francis Xavier offers services to elligible students. The Cura Personalis is a program that provides extra support to students with diagnosed special needs. Services that are available include curriculum, assessment, and learning environment modifications and limited support services. The Assistant Principal and the Reading Coordinator act as liaisons between student, parent, and teacher, and provide interim progress reports, upon request on the student’s academic performance

The school has a full-time Reading Coordinator who works with primary grade students who are reading below grade level. Students participate in small group instruction to target needed areas of remediation. Students are referred by their classroom teacher for this service.
