Music Ministries
The incorporation of quality music during our liturgical celebrations is of particular importance to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Faith Community. Each of us present at our liturgical celebrations is called upon to actively participate in our liturgical music through our vibrant singing as a worshiping community. The music of our Christian tradition is a vital part of our liturgical celebrations. Our participation in the song of the assembly is an important way we express our prayer and praise during the liturgy.

Saint Francis Xavier Chorale / Adult Choir: This choir provides the ministry of music for our 11:00 AM Sunday Mass. We strive to present top quality music that expresses a prayerful environment. We meet Thursdays
in the Sanctuary for rehearsals at 7:00 PM. The choir also takes part in our annual Tree Lighting Concert , taking place this year on December 22nd. We also provide music for Christmas,
the Easter Triduum and other feasts.
Saint Francis Xavier Children’s Choir: The Senior Choir is made up of our school and parish students in the 4th through the 8th grades. The Junior Choir is for the 1st through the 3rd grade students. This
is a great choir for students to hone their musicianship skills. The program offers basic music theory and prepares the student to have a true appreciation for and fully participate in
the Mass. These choirs provide the leadership for the school Mass and twice a month at the 9:00 AM Sunday Mass.
We have two rehearsals on Wednesdays for the Student Choirs, 1-3 PM and 4:45-5:45 PM. Contact the Parish Center for more information.
Cantors: lead the community singing for our Liturgies and also minister in the parish choir. Please contact the Parish Center if interested in auditioning.
Spanish Choir: Sings at the 1 PM Spanish Mass on Sunday. Contact Alma Cervantes through the Parish Center.
