Dear Beloved in Christ,

As we near the end of our efforts toward the CDA stewardship program, I would once again like to acknowledge the depth of your response when asked to financially contribute to our parish faith community. https://dphx.org/cda/how-to-donate.

Throughout the last several months, we’ve asked much of you; and you've responded faithfully.  When I stood before you as your new pastor last October, I spoke to you of my vision for the parish, and while sharing this vision, asked you to support the parish during the Parish Annual Stewardship Appeal, "Generations of Giving."  This appeal is a combination of tithing, prayer and active participation in our parish ministries (www.osvonlinegiving.com). Stewardship at and within our parish is encouraged and invited by all parishioners. Thank you for all you do.

In November, I asked you to support the Diocesan Capital Campaign -- our parish is vital to the success of this significant program -- and once again you responded generously.  Our participation in the campaign continues, though we aren’t formally asking for your financial support from the pulpit or pews. If you can contribute, please visit https://givetogether.dphx.org. Simultaneously, our own Capital Campaign, and the final request to honor pledge commitments continues.  A turn of the head from east to west, and we can see the physical results of your contributions. I humbly ask that you finalize the gifts you’ve pledged. Our intention is to fully fund the campaign loan by June 2020, but we need you to remain engaged.

In December, the Catholic Education Arizona (CEA) tax credit program was presented to you as an opportunity to support the students of St. Francis Xavier Elementary School, Brophy College Prep and/or Xavier College Prep.   Though you can contribute to this program through April 15, you are encouraged to return forms mailed to your homes as soon as possible.

These are but a few of the ways we ask you to financially support St. Francis Xavier Jesuit Parish and School.  The contributions of our parishioner base are too many to name, but include your support of St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus, Scouting, Sports programs, Scholarship programs, Service programs, and more.  The needs are many, and somehow you’ve responded each time abundantly. I am grateful to you.

A medida que nos acercamos al final de nuestros esfuerzos hacia el programa de administración de la CDA, me gustaría una vez más reconocer la profundidad de su respuesta cuando se le pidió que contribuyera financieramente a nuestra comunidad de fe parroquial. https://dphx.org/cda/how-to-donate.  

A lo largo de los últimos meses, les hemos pedido mucho, y han respondido fielmente.  Cuando me presenté ante ustedes como su nuevo pastor el pasado mes de Octubre, les hablé de mi visión para la parroquia, y mientras compartía esta visión, les pedí que apoyaran a la parroquia durante la Campaña Anual de Administración Parroquial, "Generaciones que Dan".  Esta apelación es una combinación de diezmo, oración y participación activa en nuestros ministerios parroquiales (www.osvonlinegiving.com).   La corresponsabilidad en y dentro de nuestra parroquia es alentada e invitada por todos los feligreses.  Gracias por todo lo que hacen.

Nuestra intención es financiar completamente el préstamo de la campaña para Junio de 2020, pero necesitamos que sigan comprometidos.

En Diciembre, el programa de crédito fiscal de Educación Católica de Arizona (CEA) se presentó a ustedes como una oportunidad para apoyar a los estudiantes de la Escuela Primaria de San Francisco Javier, Brophy College Prep y/o Xavier College Prep.   Aunque pueden contribuir a este programa hasta el 15 de Abril, se les anima a que devuelvan los formularios enviados por correo a sus hogares lo antes posible.

Estas son algunas de las formas en que le pedimos que apoye financieramente a la parroquia y Escuela Jesuita de San Francisco Javier.  Las contribuciones de nuestra base de feligreses son demasiadas para nombrarlas, pero incluyen su apoyo a San Vicente de Paúl, Caballeros de Colón, Escultismo, programas deportivos, programas de becas, programas de servicio y más.  Las necesidades son muchas, y de alguna manera ustedes han respondido cada vez abundantemente.  Les estoy agradecido.
