Staff Changes

02-07-2021From Fr. FambriniFr. Robert Fambrini, S.J.

In light of Laura Jordan’s departure from our pastoral staff, I am happy to report that Maeghyn Thornton has been offered, and has accepted, the business manager position. Maeghyn has spent the last 2.5 years working in the business operations of the parish, and is aware of the processes, our vendors, and perhaps more importantly, our parishioners. She will oversee the day-to-day business operations and collaborate with Mark Krysiak (Boudreau Consulting LLC) as he creates the FY22 budget. Mark Krysiak will serve the parish (and school) as our accountant and the primary overseer of our finances. In addition, Maeghyn will continue to work as the manager of events in Anderson Hall.

Sam Tagliarini is now our operations manager. Sam will continue to serve as the human resources administrator for the parish (which includes the school), work with the security detail of the parish (including SFXAA), and the maintenance team will report to Sam. As you are aware, we have created a servant leadership team for the Marian Shop. Sam works with this volunteer core and will continue in this role.

Clara Arvayo will remain my assistant. In addition, she has agreed to accept a few additional responsibilities which include interface with the finance and pastoral council committees, families from our school, Xavier and Brophy, as well as a check and balance with Maeghyn to continue effective processes in the business office.

The new position of Development/Stewardship has been posted on the diocesan website. I once again wish to thank Laura Jordan for her faithful service and I hope you will join me in congratulating these staff members and support them in their new endeavors.
