Message from Pastor, Fr. Bob Fambrini, SJ

My brothers and sisters in Christ:

For the past several months I have been in conversation with the provincial about my future and, upon my request, he has agreed that this will be my last year as pastor at St Francis Xavier. I make this announcement with a heavy heart but now after 30 years serving in the role as pastor in five parishes, I realize that the time has come for me assume a ministry with less responsibility. My new assignment is still in the process of discernment. My time here will conclude toward the end of July when you will have the opportunity to welcome your new pastor, Fr. Joe O’Keefe. Fr. Joe knows our community as he served here during my first year and has returned on a regular basis. I am confident that he will do well. My deepest gratitude to all of you for your faithful service and support of me as your pastor. It has been and continues to be a graced pleasure.
